1. • Brothers, just an update on member John Downey.  He was released from the Health South Rehabilitation facility in Red Bank, NJ on Friday September 16th.  He is home and has a physical therapist visit him to get all the parts moving correctly again.  He is awaiting word on a 6th and final surgery as we speak.  He asked about the guys, so i'm passing this email along in the event you want to wish him a speedy recovery. 
   

He indicated his desire in riding again next season although possibly on a trike this time.  I told him several of our "elder" members were looking into them so he could be part of the "movement".

1. • This is by far the most difficult e-mail I have ever had to write.  It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Brother Preston Fairlamb, known to us as Jay.
   

Jay and his wife Cathy were involved in a fatal motorcycle accident on Sunday May 13th. Their motorcycle was hit head on by a vehicle that came across the double yellow.

Jay passed on at the scene awaiting helicopter transport. Cathy was transferred to Morristown Hospital in critical condition, and latest word was surgery was being performed late Sunday night. Details are very sketchy at this time, but we will get information out to you as we receive it, including funeral arrangements. I ask that you keep Cathy and the family in your thoughts and prayers. 1. • Hello brother Knights, well we have two knights with medical problems. Not major serious but painful.
   

Joe Grandioso who has problem with Syadic nerve for three weeks. He is getting therapy.

 

Ralph Trionfo fell off his steps and damaged his knee. Cast removed and he has a leg brace and is able to walk.

1. • Charles Quant has surgery on his back. Reports have him on the mend and doing well.
